Real Gospel

There are 5 types of sacrifices in Leviticus...
Burnt, a consecration offering-  when coming to God. presenting ourselves holy and acceptable- this is an act of submission

Meat, these offerings are our reasonable service. this is the functioning of our spirits in the work of the Lord. One cannot claim to be a Christian and not give meat offerings

Sin offering, This is required when we have Sin against God. EX. Sins of Commission   this is confession

Trespass offering, This is when we need cleansing. Ex Sins of Omission

Peace offering....  This offering is our relationship .
THIS AMAZING OFFERING IS WHEN THE ALTER STOPS TAKING FROM YOU.... AND STARTS GIVING TO YOU.

This Peace offering is our relationship with God... our Prayer is also a reflection of our relationship with God.
YOU HAVEN'T PRAYED UNTIL YOU HAVE PRAYED YOURSELF TO PEACE.
Through your Sin offering,
Through your Trespass Offering
Through your Burnt Offering
Through your Meat Offering
THEN to your Peace offering and this offering will feed you

This Gospel of ours is a Gospel of peace... it’s a Gospel of Relationship.
The Good news is I can be at peace with GOD, and I can have the peace of GOD and I can even Minister the peace of God to others.

Deception comes from the Father of deception......the Devil.

The discussion in John chapter 8 goes on and gets even better. Jesus tells them bluntly that they are not the children of Abraham. (vs39-41)

"Ye do the deeds of your father" Christ is calling them out here and later says "Ye are of your father the devil"
so this is some very harsh thing for these guys to swallow..... and they are not doing a very good job of it. every question they ask following this just makes it worse. Christ has the pharisees pinned with something that they didn't comprehend at that moment in time. Their works were deceitful.

The Pharisees,
-said one thing and their heart was not in it.
-acted one way so the people would believe their spirituality.
-had to keep an appearance as if they were the only ones that had connection with God.
-had deceived themselves and others to believe that God honored their physical lineage from Abraham.

"Abraham is our father"

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+8%3A31-59&version=KJV
Her is a Link to the passage of scripture that I'll be commonly referring to

I left off last time by mentioning that the pharisees were very quick to make known that truly they were descendants of Abraham (vs33) but in doing so had let their pride show on so many levels. This is not the first time that they had made a flawed argument. Earlier in the previous chapter (7: 52) "they answered and said unto him, art thou also of  Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet"  they obviously had forgotten that Jonah was called from the city of Gath-hepher which is in the very middle of Galilee. (2 Kings 14:25)

When our Pride gets the best of us, these flaws start to come out in arguments and expose the other sections in our statements that we count on to defend us. So in chapter 8, their are 2 arguments that the pharisees make
1.Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
2. We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man
the first argument shows us that they did not know who the Father or what Spiritual things Christ was saying. Christ explains in (vs14-18) His Father witnesses for Him, and the witness that He had been giving throughout history was one and the same. Kind of like a politician that claims look at my long list of voting history and you can see what I've done and if they are in agreement with each other the politicians words are true. This is what Christ was saying vs.13 for i know whence i came, and whither i go...

But having no spiritual perception they could not refer to the witness throughout the scriptures that bear witness.

The second defense that was used was the simply claiming of Abraham seed and also attempting to discredit Christs lineage by accusing him of being conceived by fornication. why is this? Because having a physical lineage was well respected custom of those in the spiritual movements of the time. The Pharisees believed that tracing your lineage back to Abraham and showing how that promised has been passed down to them because of the lineage meant that those Israelite's were more endowed because of it. It was a "status quo" that was looked at to be their ticket to just about anything.

As generations went on this issue of being traced back to Abraham became more and more of a way of recognizing people. and those that did not have it were not as well treated as those who could. This became a way to show that you were not kidding about being really who God had given the promise to. And the conventional wisdom could not disprove it because the promise was made to Abraham and the descendants of Him.

But is this the way that God works? Abraham and God were very close and not because of the same reason the Pharisees thought they were close to God.

We be Abraham's seed!!!!!!....... or were they?

“We be Abraham’s seed!!!!!!!”........ or were they?

The Religious movements of the time of Christ's ministry such as the Saducee and Pharisee groups seemed very strong and worshipful at the time. They had even gathered a strong respect from the public. Although  these Religious groups showed such strong attachment to the old testament scripture that the people believe their authority, Christ in many occasions showed how misguided and deceived they really were.

One of the most recognized arguments in the New testament is the one in John 8:31-59
Please read this if you are not familiar with it.

Where Jesus is preaching freedom, the Pharisees (as we can see in vs.13) take offense to this claim of Israel being in bondage…. And think they are so smart in their reply of “We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man : how sayest thou, ye shall be made free”

A Pharisaical mindset exposes its own downfall at this point. It claims to something that the one who they are arguing against can’t disprove by natural physical means. Yes they were from Abrahams seed. But Look at the flaw in this argument. If you look at the history of the Israelites they had been in bondage…. And were actually in bondage to Rome at the time of argument.

This shows us that the Pharisees had deceived themselves into believing that the claiming of Abrahams seed was a defense. I’ll comment more about this later

If i were a literal sheep.

1 Samuel 17:28
(And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.)

Everyone has their own calling and they are placed where God puts you. Do not ever be intimidated by the size of your calling whether it be large or small. David, is probably the most popular shepherd in the Bible, and is known for being a shepherd before he was King. And yet David had just a few sheep that were under His care.

If i were a sheep, according to the way the scriptures describes how he cared for them, I'd choose to belong to David's flock. Because of His appreciation that his job to care after those few sheep was his inspiration to know how God took care of him.

Your ministry is not going to be based on how many fruits you produce, as a number. 8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred. Mark 4:8 these were the products of the seed that fell on the good ground. God gives the increase. God promotes as He sees fit. God brings up and puts down.

Christ told John the baptist, when he was asking is Jesus was the Christ. and Christs answer simply stated that here are my fruits, and blessed is he that is not offended in me. blessed is he that is not offended in the way that i place them, blessed is he that does not get angry with me because i don't give them a gigantic following. do not seek a life that you envision.  seek to produce the best fruit that you possibly can.

Lord? Make me a Man........ of Humility

"A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left."

Eccl 10:2

So to know the utmost about your heart would in fact be the wisest thing you could ever do. Now the heart in the emotional sense relates to the passion and direction that a person is moving in. If we were so foolish as to not even be aware of the direction that we were moving in (mentally and spiritually) then i would say that our heart would be at our left hand... and have the back burner. a short side note is that we have always heard the phrase let our heart guide you and time and time again if you follow your heart you will be misguided and deceived. you must guide your heart.

Not only guide your heart but guide it well. we must have our passions, and desires as our #1 priority at all times as our focus in order to be constantly guiding our heart.

To put it as simple as can be we must first know the person that we must want to become. Then find out how to become that person. then implement every step necessary in achieving that goal of guiding our heart to the best desirable outcome.

In my personal walks and experiences my first prayer is to God to ask Him to help me to become a man as he would want me to be and the first repeating commandment that i see in His word is the commandment to be Humble. realizing this my instant everyday prayer is "God, please make me a man of Humility. Help me to empty out myself so that You and only You can fill me up."

Wahoo finally getting a chance to try out blogging

Getting a chance to sit down and write! Always wondered who might be actually interested in what one individual has to say and if one would find anything interesting. but waking up early and finding the necessary time to jot down some stuff will be great! Most of my Blogging will be pertaining to my faith. I believe that my faith is the most forward thing that should be known about me. My faith will be pushed and promoted till all know that my Faith in the almighty God I serve is the most prevalent thing about me, or should be.

Well the first thing I've learned about blogging is an appreciation for the auto-save feature. *clap hands*. Most of my blogs might end up being original types but there is a chance i will be transcripting most items from several of the personal journals i have. i know with the keen photo features that are easy to use i will also be utilizing my camera more often for the sole purpose of posting photos along with the blog.
